Whether by bareboat or skippered charter you will be able to explore the beautiful coastline and harbours of the Solent and beyond. The Isle of Wight is only a short and reasonably sheltered passage away with its well frequented yachting harbours of Cowes, Newtown and Yarmouth providing a warm welcome.

A favourite and charming port at the western end of the Solent within a 2/3 hour sail of the Beaulieu River. Beautiful scenery, friendly atmosphere, many pubs and restaurants. Not to be missed.

Lyminton

Lymington

Berth either at one of the marinas or at the Town Quay and be a short stroll from this very attractive New Forest market town.

For those of you that wish to venture further afield or experience an open sea passage the Needles channel provides a challenging and dramatic exit point to the Solent from where longer passages to Poole, Weymouth the West Country or even cross channel destinations can be considered.

Alternatively you can head eastwards to Portsmouth and visit the Naval dockyards or maybe further east to explore the large natural harbour of Chichester.  Head west through the Needles Channel and you are a 15 mile sail away from Poole harbour and the delightful anchorage of Studland Bay.
